On 30 November 2021 it became mandatory to wear face coverings in certain indoor settings including retail and "premises providing personal care". The Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy have confirmed this applies to complementary healthcare practitioners and their clients. If you are treating clients in person, they must wear a face covering unless they are exempt.

Government guidance on wearing face coverings and exemptions can be found here.

Since the move to Step 4 of the Government's Roadmap out of lockdown on 19 July 2021, all CNHC Registrants have been advised to continue to wear a Type II face mask where 2 metres social distancing cannot be maintained when treating a client. We advise that you to continue to follow our guidance which can be found here.
