Barts Health NHS Trust  is looking for complementary therapists who are willing to volunteer their time within the NHS. 

We are looking for therapists practising Aromatherapy, Bowen Therapy, Massage Therapy, Reiki, Reflexology or Shiatsu.

You will be based at either Whipps Cross University Hospital or St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London.

The posts are voluntary, however, in exchange for working in outpatient and inpatient clinics you will:

• Gain extensive experience of working with NHS patients
• Gain experience working with an NHS multi-disciplinary team
• Full access to certificated CPD and other training free of charge, including completing a Competencies Tracker that will demonstrate that you are ready for salaried work in an NHS clinical setting.

This is an emerging area of medicine and NHS experience, and an NHS reference may help with longer term career prospects.

The Trust Volunteer Service covers travel expenses up to £6 per day.
