Volunteering opportunity for CNHC registered Reiki practitioner at Meadow House Hospice

Type: Volunteering

Date: 14 10 2025

The Mulberry Centre is currently looking for a Reiki practitioner who would be prepared to volunteer for us for half a day weekly at Meadow House Hospice, Ealing Hospital.

The Mulberry Centre is an award-winning charity based in the grounds of West Middlesex University Hospital. Our aim is to deliver a wide range of information and support services to anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer.

Our volunteer complementary therapists provide therapies for people with cancer, their carers, and the bereaved. These therapies are recognised as having positive benefits, helping to relieve stress-related symptoms and encourage relaxation.

The Mulberry Centre has recently expanded to deliver some of our services beyond the Centre and into the local community. We are now seeking suitably qualified practitioners who can offer Reiki and Reflexology sessions weekly at Meadow House Hospice (Ealing Hospital, Uxbridge Rd, Southall UB1 3HW).

By way of appreciation and support, we provide our therapists with ongoing CPD opportunities, training, and regular therapy swaps. We also reimburse CNHC registration fees retrospectively and offer valuable experience of working with clients facing significant health challenges.

Our volunteers consistently tell us that the rewards of helping these clients are immense. One of our volunteers said:
“Volunteering at The Mulberry Centre has increased my confidence in the area in which I qualified. It’s been invaluable, and I’m loving helping those affected by cancer find a moment of happiness.”
