Apply to register with CNHC - A Step by Step Guide

CNHC works with a number of organisations that check the details of practitioners’ training, insurance and experience and confirms whether they are eligible for CNHC registration.

All of these organisations have met CNHC’s Quality Assurance criteria in respect of this function.

There are 2 possible routes to CNHC registration. Please identify which route applies to you:

Route 1:

CNHC has agreed that the Professional Associations listed below may verify applications for CNHC registration. If you are a member of one of these organisations for the relevant discipline please click on the link provided below to begin your application to register.

You will need to complete a CNHC "Request to Register form" which is available on your PAs website (just click on the appropriate link below). Please note you may need to login to the members area to access the Request to Register form.

Route 2:

If you are a not a member of one of the organisations listed below for the relevant discipline there are a number of organisations who have agreed to verify applications for CNHC registration for non members. This means the organisation will assess your application for an administration fee but you do not have to join their organisation as a member.

Please note Professional Association (PA) membership is encouraged in addition to CNHC registration because PAs play an important role in providing a range of services to their members.

CNHC registers individual complementary therapists (not organisations) from fifteen different disciplines. All applicants must meet CNHC's criteria for entry in order to be eligible to be admitted to the CNHC Register.

Registration Fees:
The registration fee is £63 for your first discipline
. Please note with effect from Monday 3 October 2016 the CNHC registration fee will rise to £65. Anyone completing their online registration with CNHC up to midnight on Sunday 2 October 2016 will be able to register at the current rate of £63. The fee for registration of additional disciplines will remain unchanged at £10 per discipline (to a maximum of four, after which it is free).
