The Northern College of Acupuncture seeks applications from suitably qualified individuals for the roles of Course Director and for a module leader for the Functional Medicine Approaches to Nutrition year 2 module. Applicants are required to be a member of BANT and registered with CNHC.

Course Director Nutrition Science and Practice:
The Course Director will join a small management team of employees in College, at an exciting time in the College’s development, working in a part-time capacity.  The programme is already well regarded, and the new Course Director will have opportunities to develop it further. The post requires qualification and experience in a nutritional therapy practice, people management and delivery of higher education programmes.

  • Status: Employed, part-time
  • Hours: 14 hours per week.  The current incumbent works this as two 7 hour days (Monday and Thursday) though this can be amended for the right candidate.
  • Period: Permanent
  • Salary: £17.14 - £18.37 per hour (£32,095 - £34,386 per annum pro rata)
  • Annual Leave: Pro rata on the fulltime equivalent of 33 days per year including bank holidays.

Module Leader - Functional Medicine Approaches to Nutrition 2:
The module leader is a self-employed, part-time teaching role and you will be joining a small team of nutritional therapy practitioners and academics.

  • Status: Self-employed, part-time
  • Period: Permanent
  • Salary: £32,095 - £34,386 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience (equates to £17.14 - £18.37 per hour). 
  • Location: Northern College of Acupuncture, 61 Micklegate, York and some home-working.
